Thank heaven for alliteration, if only because it's the reason behind one of the greatest cheap eats traditions in San Diego: Taco Tuesdays. Most Mexican restaurants and bars celebrate some version of cheap tacos on Tuesdays, and we've picked out a handful of the best.

Fred's calls its Tuesday night party "Kiss my Taco," and celebrates with $3 tacos all night, plus specials on margaritas and Mexican beers. Don't forget the bottomless baskets of chips and salsa are free!
