In Short – Utilizing the world's largest film format to create an incredibly realistic cinema experience, the giant tilted IMAX Dome screen spans 76 feet in diameter and is made of 1500 triangular aluminum tiles. With the dome tilted 25 degrees from the horizon, the audience enjoys the illusion of being suspended in space. Film titles range from Dinosaurs Alive to Coral Reef Adventure and Sea Monsters, a Prehistoric Adventure. Sky Tonight planetarium shows are held the first Wednesday of each month. – – –

When To Go:
Fridays at the Fleet offer a choice of two classic films from the IMAX vault and two current hits, each for $7.50 during every month except December.
Save Money:
Enjoy a 20 percent discount on ticket prices if you bring a group of 15 or more for showings Mon-Fri from 10am-5pm. You'll also get one free pass for every 10 paid admissions.
The Extras:
The theater is available for private screenings on an hourly basis and can be used for showing independent films or as a large-scale lecture site.
