Editorial Review for Reuben H Fleet Science Center - Imax – by Maren Dougherty
In Short
Utilizing the world's largest film format to create an incredibly realistic cinema experience, the giant tilted IMAX Dome screen spans 76 feet in diameter and is made of 1500 triangular aluminum tiles. With the dome tilted 25 degrees from the horizon, the audience enjoys the illusion of being suspended in space. Film titles range from Dinosaurs Alive to Coral Reef Adventure and Sea Monsters, a Prehistoric Adventure. Sky Tonight planetarium shows are held the first Wednesday of each month.
