Living Legends Editorial Review
The Skinny
It's kind of convoluted, but the Living Legends family tree goes like this: BFAP (aka Sunspot) and PSC became the Mystik Journeymen in the early '90s, gaining a rep for throwing killer underground shows at their loft in East Oakland. At one of these parties in 1995, the Grouch hooked up with the Journeymen. Around the same time, the 3 Melancholy Gypsys, consisting of Eligh, Murs and Scarub, were creating a stir in Los Angeles. They all crossed paths in the Bay Area, decided to join forces and relocate to L.A. Also included in the Living Legends crew are Asop, Arata and Bicasso.
The Crowd
Rap fans who dig Moonrocks, Mystik Journeymen and CMA.
