SKIP THIS ONE!.
We received very poor service, waited 40 minutes for entree to arrive, received a completely well-done crusty steak (ordered medium), and were told by an overly touch-happy manager that the deserts
would be on the house. Of course they weren't. By the way, the steak came with no sides at all. It was a pretty sad presentation in a lousy restaurant.
AVOID THIS PLACE. There are so many other and better restaurants around this area.…
WOW! IF you want to try something new.... I am noticing that there have been no recent reviews.... I personally think Acqua al 2 (2 is said, Due, its 2 in Italian) is authentic, its not to say that Old Spaghetti Factory isnt but what Acqua al 2 has to offer is a special meal that any self respecting Florentine would go out to eat at a favorite ristorante. Its not the lasagna that their mothers would slave all day for. Plus, the owners just opened a fashionable little wine bar called TOAST(like salute) enoteca e cucina (wine bar & kitchen). This place is so cool. So dont let the reviews sway you away, just relax and have a good time, trust me!…
Horrible Service. I had some friends visiting and took them here for dinner. The food was good, I have no complaints about the food. The service however, was horrific. I will not go back simply because of the service. If I am going to splurge on a good meal I want someone to take care of me. Then when we got the check over 3 1/2 hours later he had included a ridiculous tip because in his words' he didn't think we'd leave him one'. I was infuriated. But by this point we were late for the rest of the nights plans, and I was just glad to get out of there without losing my Italian temper.…
Delicious Authentic Italian Food!. Great overall dining experience! I may be biased because I absolutely love Italian food, however this charming restaurant met all of my expectations. The menu had so many delicious looking dishes but the friendly and knowledgeable server helped us narrow down our options. We skipped the appetizer since Italian food is pretty heavy and we wanted to save room for dessert. I ordered the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce which was light and creamy. My boyfriend ordered the filet mignon topped with blueberry sauce. We were both hesitant about trying it since we weren?t sure how blueberry sauce would compliment red meat, but hats off to the chef and the server for recommending such an outstanding dish! Finally, we wrapped up our meal with the flourless chocolate cake and the cheesecake which were the perfect end to our meal. Both were more moderate portions and light in texture so we didn?t walk out feeling uncomfortably full. Overall it was a really positive experience and I will definitely be returning to Acqua Al 2 in the future!…
ANOTHER TOURIST TRAP. VERY AVERAGE FOOD. SLOW SERVICE. RUDE WHEN WE COMPLAINED ABOUT FOOD ARRIVING COLD. ANOTHER GASLAMP LOSER THAT SERVIVES ON THE TOURISTS.
