Good for a chain restaurant

I enjoy Buca di Beppo. It's my favorite chain restaurant to go for Italian food, especially if I have a large group joining me. My husband and I go on our own and get the smaller portions of chicken parm and we absolutely love their fried mozzarella. It is nice to go to a mom and pop Italian restaurant if you want the intimate atmosphere but I like coming here with a fun group. The service has been adequate for such a large and busy restaurant.

very dissappointed

Where to start....My family and I came to celebrate my birthday at buca di peppos for dinner. After reading the reviews, I was very eager to try this " cozy " Italian restaurant. What a disappointment. The service was absolutely horrible. Our server probably said 5 words to us the whole night. Our server kept forgetting to bring our beverage order to us (2 sodas) and finally managed to bring them about 10 minutes after our appetizers arrived. Once the main entrees arrived our server immediately dropped the bill off which definitely left the impression she wasn't there to give us further service. As for the food, it was just okay .....large portions but not very special in taste. Hopefully my experience was a fluke but I won't be coming back.

FUN FUN FUN

Don't listen to the first 2 reviewers, This place ROCKS! the food is to die for. Especially the veal and the eggplant parmesan!!! delicious. I took 2 friends that seemed unimpressed and ordered 1 plate of eggplant parmesan and they ended up fighting over it. So we ordered another plate. Great for families and the wait is worth it. High Regards
