Ruths steak is SUPERBULAR!. When I go out to eat, I expect to pay a lot for my meal. I also expect to get a lot of food for that money. I'm a bit of a foodie and only want the best. Well, this place did deliver a great meal that I really enjoyed, only the portion was so small that I left feeling hungry still. The price wasn't worth the meal. However, the ambiance is very nice.

Great location. On this trip we ate at both the downtown and the Del Mar location -- my husband liked the downtown location best, I preferred the Del Mar.

Our server at Del Mar was wonderful. He was attentive -- but left us alone. The food was wonderful, although the au gratin potatoes weren't quite done all the way. Steaks were cooked almost perfectly, my husband's med. rare was just slightly overcooked - but not enough to send it back. The salad's seemed small--a little skimpy on the dressing. I'm sure they would have given us more if we had asked for it.

The dessert was good, sin cake always a winner.

Overall we were very happy with the dinner -- and glad we could self park and not have to worry about valet.

Wonderful, consistent wet aged prime!. You always know what you can expect at Ruth's Chris...can't say that for many other hyped up steak houses. If you're looking for a great steak, good service and comfortable ambience, this is the spot in San Diego!

Choice cuts of custom-aged beef arrive in sizzling butter on 500-degree plates. The menu also offers chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade. Family-style sides include gargantuan onion rings, creamed spinach and various styles of potatoes. Traditional homemade desserts like cheesecake and bread pudding conclude the meal.

Good Steak. Ruth's Chris is a constently good steak. I've eaten at Ruth's Chris in several cities and you can always depend on them for a decent steak.
