“However, when a problem occurs on your bill, their amazingly stupid, and unprofessional people in the "Payment Office" can't seem to resolve problems -- especially when it's their mistake.”
visitors perspective. I was an invited guest and my first thought was what a great place to relax and get away from the hotel spa's, pop by the pool instead of putting one in my yard and have lunch with the girls...all in addition to a nice workout. That said, my one and only experience was at the pool and restaurant. The restaurant ran out of the salad I wanted and 20 minutes later shared that information with me. Then another 40 minutes later they gave me my 3rd selection exactly how I didn't want it...whatever. If I was a member and I had to pay a couple of hundred dollars a month for this kind of extra service, I'd rather spend my money somewhere else. I would want a guest pass for a week before I signed on...you never know what is beneath the surface until you are there.
Private health club offers programs and facilities to promote better nutrition, fitness, strength, and overall body wellness..
In Short
Cardio equipment is just the beginning at this sports and wellness club in Del Mar. There are group classes like cardio kickboxing, pilates programs, courts for squash, tennis and racquetball, and a basketball gymnasium. Three pools eliminate tension between recreational and serious swimmers, and the youth pool is designed for babies and toddlers. Relax with a manicure in the sanctuary spa or a taste of pesto pasta in thecafé.
Nice gym, but highly unprofessional accounting department.
I'm a member of this gym. I like the gym. However, when a problem occurs on your bill, their amazingly stupid, and unprofessional people in the "Payment Office" can't seem to resolve problems -- especially when it's their mistake. They'll quote you their policy -- like I give a crappolla about their policies. I've already dished out a couple of grand plus $166 per month. Why do they have to act like a bunch of money grubbing, Hollywood film producers, banker-type stingy penny-hoarding bastards?? They've already got me as a member. Do they have to steal more from me?
My recommendations: STAY AWAY!!
You'd be better off joining an elite country club, like up in Rancho Santa Fe, or even 24 hour Fitness -- where at least you know what you're getting paying $5 per month.
Once again, join if you like the hassle of talking to MBA types who want to r*pe you for every penny in your wallet, or **STAY AWAY** , otherwise!!
