A charming Persian restaurant in University Heights that doesn't just stick to kebabs..
In Short
The family-run Perian spot started as Café Caspian in a tiny space across the street. Now the restaurant has a cozy dining room and an outside patio with rich woods and elaborate artwork. Flavors of saffron, pistachio, cilantro and soy ginger infuse the dishes and create a tantalizing scent that flows outside the patio. Popular main dishes include the Middle Eastern chicken wrap, grilled mahi-mahi kabobs and daily specials like the pomegranate stew.
