Best Fileto in San Diego.
I had the fileto with red wine reduction- a unique. I do not adore blue cheese, but this steak had Gorgonzola on the top with mashed potatoes and it was a fabulous mixture that was cooked to perfection! I've gone back twice plus the steak was just as beneficial both times. Honestly, Flemmings has absolutely nothing on this steak, which was a surprise to me mainly because I truly like Flemmings.
I also tasted the ravioli di pera, which was damn amazing. Not too sweet having a small crunch with the nuts and small zing with the sun dried tomatoes. I get pleased just thinking about this dish.

Homemade Pasta's! Salmon cooked to Perfection!.
My husband and I have been going to Barolo's since they opened. We have never been disapointed with the wonderful food or service they offer! They deliver a great meal everytime!
Having grown up in a Italian home in Chicago, I am very picky about eating Italian out.
I love their Salmon lunch so much I could eat it weekly. If you are in the mood for Pasta, you have to try the Pear Ravioli! It's really rich, but it's worth it!
In fact, my husband is picking up take out for our dinner from there at this very moment. I don't think there is any higher recomendation I could give than my testimony of how often we eat their food! Tell them you want to sit in Mimo's section if he is there! You will have a true Italian experience then. Good Eating!

Authentic Italian pizzas and pastas in a cozy dining room near La Jolla's Golden Triangle..
In Short
The Italian restaurant's bold blue and white striped overhang draws eyes toward its humble location in the Renaissance Towne Centre strip mall. Inside patrons find a homey atmosphere accented with wall murals of Italy's landscapes and a wipe-off board that advertises the daily specials. Main dishes include homemade, pear-stuffed ravioli and sautéed veal, along with the standard Italian line-up of pizzas and pastas.
