PB Sushi has the best fresh sushi in San Diego.

I have been going there for about a year now and have never been let down. They are so consistent, the quality has never changed. The sushi is sooooo fresh. The pieces of fish are thick and delicious. I order more sashimi at this place than any other sushi restaurant. You must have the tuna belly and uni. No one even comes close to comparing.

The service is always spot on and I have never had a server that had a bad attitude. The atmosphere is upbeat with music in the back round and flat screen tv's. Everyone always seems so happy here.

This is my favorite restaurant.

Best Sushi In PB (^o^). I love PB Sushi<3 I eat there like 3 times a week!!!! The samurai roll is my favorite!~!~!~ I love $1 sake bomb Mondays. It’s crazy how the servers put up with all the crazy drunk ppl that fight in the restaurant. Anyway, the sushi there isn’t the authentic Japanese kind, but boy is it freaken good!!!!!!!!!! There is always a line, and I see why. Totally worth the wait (^o^)

Great Sushi. My friend brought me to PB Sushi while visiting San Diego, when you walk in it doesn't look like it will be anything special and I expected a "lunch style corner sushi" but their special roles are something out of the ordinary. Very creative and tasty rolls and good prices. I definitely recommend it!

Horrible attitute and sushi just the way you DONT like it!. I've gone here numerous times (my own fault) and it's really hit/miss. When I don't have a lot of money I like to go here because it's relatively cheap but depending on who's working, I might be paying for crappy sushi that comes out the exact opposite of how I ordered it. One waitress there has such a horrendous attitude that I won't go in if she's working. Also, do NOT order take-out from them. I did once and had to return it THREE times because they weren't smart enough to get it right any of those 3 times. They also tried giving me the crappy sashimi, yet charge me for the good stuff, and explained to me that they give the lower quality sashimi to their dine-out guests. Seriously?? This place does not know how to cater to their guests whatsoever. I say skip it and spend the extra $10 on your bill to get amazing sushi and service a block away at ZEN 5.

Best Sushi in PB. I have eaten at more than 1/2 the sushi restaurants in PB and this one is by far the best. It is very rare to find blue fin tuna on the menu, and here it is spectacular. Plus the Oh No roll is amazing. I was wary at first as the name doesn't sound that 'authentic' however, I was very impressed. Everything is very fresh and the staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Consistently Good!. My daughter & I drove around one Sunday looking for an open sushi place and PB Sushi was our find. I was not a true sushi person until we started coming to PB Sushi. Now I know all the hot sushi spots in San Diego county and yes PB Sushi is great food at great prices for the sushi lovers and non sushi lovers alike. I started out ordering the platter w/4 cali rolls, tempura veg's, and crispy chicken! Now, I order everything from the sushi menu - I love the hand rools especially the crispy soft shell crab, yum! Everything is fresh - no pre-made anything including the cali rolls that my daughter loves - you know when they are pre-made. I love the beautiful way it's plated and the sauces are to die for. I love the spicy jalapeno with salmon and spicy sauce! This place is very reasonable and the food is consistenly very good and fresh. If you have had a bad experience I'm surprised - I have bad days where no ones food tastes good. If it was not up to your liking the owners are very good to the customers and I'm sure would have taken care of you. My ONLY gripe is sometimes the girls get busy and leave you there waiting for the check. It's happened several times and I've had to wave them down but a busy place is a good sign and I did not have to wait for my food! Happy Hour specials daily from like 2 to 6 pm - VERY GOOD.

Terrible sushi. Stumbled into PB Sushi one evening and was surprised by how terrible their sushi was. None of the fish was fresh, and we left without eating much of it. Definitely a place to avoid!
