San Diego Hardware review. I liked that there was a huge supply of about everything one could need. But my experience wasn't that great. First it took quite a few minutes to be acknowledged as I waited at the register area (there was 1 customer being helped, but there were 2 employees just talking). The girl who helped me, knew where to find what I wanted. When I got home & my husband installed my new mailbox he noticed it was damaged in the corner. He fixed it, because I didn't want to drive all the way back to the store. But...I went to attach the new numbers, one of the numbers was wrong... I should of looked at them before I left the store...so I will make the trek back to the store today on my day off!
Great Hardware. Friendly Staff. Dog friendly!.
San Diego Hardware is one of my favorite places to go. As a designer I'm always inspired by the products they stock. I found some of the most beautiful cabinet hardware that took my cabinets from bland to delightful.
They carry an impressive selection of higher end and mid priced products and less of the everyday stuff you find a the big box stores - this is not Home Depot, but that's why I like coming here.
I have an older place and the sales people were really helpful in helping me find exactly what I need and they gave me great advice on how to make my new hinges work just right and I did it myself with their instructions!
These guys are experts at hardware - they really know their stuff. I found the sales people to be friendly, helpful and experts in their field.
I remember going to SDH when they were Downtown and it's so cool that some of the people are still with them and they remembered me.
Another thing that made me happy was when I had my dog with me. The sales people had treats ready for Rufus. Now it's one of his favorite places too.
If you're looking for hardware to make your home beautiful, this is the place.
