“Part of a chain that started with its location on Telegraph Canyon Road, it was once well known for a responsive staff, quality product, and huge and filling portions.”
“Having moved only a couple yards form its former location, the new location was suppose to provide a more middle class setting, with a self-serve soda fountain, more seating, and a full on salsa bar.”
“Lolita's has to be my 2nd favorite mexican food place in san diego.”

Legendary local taco shop serves more than just street meat, with burritos, tostadas, and house made chips, salsa and guacamole..
In Short
With four locations in San Diego and a fifth scheduled to open downtown near Petco Park, this taco shop has been a local's favorite for 25 years. Founders Joaquin and Dolores

Regulars rave about the carne asada fries, California burrito and chicken chimichangas, but the menu also includes several combo plates served with rice, beans, guacamole and tortillas.
