arg!!!!!!. so when i took my guinea pig in after reading all these great comments i was shocked to see how WRONG they were.

I was there almost 2 hours!!!!! for 1 test and some nail trimmings! They took forever! everything was way over priced! and they gave my guinea a shot even though he came up negative for mites and lice and to top it off they didn't tell me they were giving him the shot until i saw the bill with a $50 shot on it!

if my guinea pig came up negative on all the tests why not just suggest some shampoo that would cost much less and would be less severe than a shot which i didn't even approve of!

loooooooooooooove it. If you are looking for quality and comforting services for your pet-Otay Lakes pet clinic is the place you must check out! :) I was having a hard time finding a vet that my chihuahua Taco liked.At all the previous places Taco was furious! He tried to bite everyone..and I could tell that they just did not like him :( But then a friend of mine gave me a cute little card with her pet Sammie on it reccommending Otay so I thought i would give it a shot..I'm glad I did because i'm in loooove with it! The staff was patient and caring with Taco even when he tried to bite their head off. But throughout the exam he must have sensed the good vibes because after a while he just calmed down and let them baby him.Those treats they gave him must have helped too!They educated me on all the necessary preventatives that Taco shoud be on and now were all set for 6 months with those.We felt very taken care of! I would reccommend this place to anyone and everyone!!!

Binky doing great!. Dr Shebel helped my pet by spading her and she did well. Like her I am from Canada and now I have found my vet!

Quality care. My first visit to Otay lakes clinic with my dog Jojo was a good visit for both of us, the receptionist that greeted us at the front desk was sweet and friendly, the nurse that dealt with us was knowledgeable and got to know us better genuinely (being new to the area), and the doctor was prompt and thorough with the exam. I had a warm fuzzy feeling being in the office which was nice when you are visiting a family doctor.

Great place!. I had a very positive visit to my vet last week. The lobby was a little small, but I was acknowledged immediately. All of the staff was friendly, conversational and made me feel like an old friend. The doctor who saw my dog was very personable and had a lot of information to give. I definately recommend anyone in the area looking for a new vet to give Otay Lakes a try. You'll love it!

Great Staff. I really enjoyed my experience at Otay Lakes. The staff was exceptional from the moment I walked in my pet and I felt at home. The Doctors were very knowledgeable and personable, they even took the time to give me a tour! I would definately recommend it due to the care that both my pet and I recieved.
