Great selection but horrible customer service. I have no complaints against the sales women who helped us in the christening gown section. They were very serviceable and nice. I do have a complaint against the owner of the store. He has no idea what customer service is and in our particular case, he was dumbfounded when we presented him with our tax exempt card. His lack of knowledge of what it was immediately put him on the defensive saying that he was not going to honor it., then he went on to say that California does not have to adhere to federal law and then he even had the audacity to call his "accountant" to verify its authenticity! Not one to admit his error, he made us search like crazy for a copy machine in the city (because of course he does not have a copy machine in his store office) after overhearing me tell my husband to forget the $260 purchase. We purcahsed the gown because we had already put time and effort into choosing it, but if we could have had more time, we would not have purchased it from this utterly uneducated and rude owner.
BOYCOTT. This place not only has the worst service, they are darn right mean! My daughter and I went in to try on Quincenera dresses and we are not only told you can only try 2 and you can not do it today. We were asked to return during school hours Monday- Friday. You have to understand this was barked at us as if they were doing us a favor. What the... You have got to be kidding me. I had read all the bad reviews about this place on google but went anyway because my daughter liked a dress she saw advertised at this store. I say Boycott to all. I feel like taking out an add in it I want to say Please boycott join me in consumer activism involving the act of voluntarily abstaining from using, buying, or dealing with a Little Kids Wear.
Rude People. I called to find out if this limit on the dresses was tru and the guy who answered the phone was such a $#@$%. My girlfriend recommended this place but there is no way I will drive all the way to Chula Vista to have my flower girl only try on 8 dresses and if I see # 9 I can't try it on. What a ridicoulus policy. If I were the lady that didn't get her money back I would take him to court. That is unfair.
DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! PLEASE BOYCOTT!!!. I am a mother of four daughters, and although this store has a wide variety of special event dresses for girls, I will never shop here again. We pre-purchased two dresses from this establishment. When the dresses arrived, we went to try them on. One of the dresses did not fit my 12-year-old daughter and my money was returned. I received a phone call from the owner minutes later stating my daughter had left the dress with a foul scent. He indicated that since the dress was left in that condition, that the other dress ordered was no longer available for pick-up nor was I going to get a refund for the second dress. 1. My daughter did not have any foul odor. 2. The dress was not left with any visible stains. 3. She had the dress on a total of 10 minutes. Essentially, the owner has "stolen" from me, I have paid for a dress that I do not have in my possession. There is not a policy posted that states that if you try on a dress and it is not in a good condition that you have to purchase it. He has no concept of customer service or loyalty of his customers. As indicated, I have four daughters, I have been a customer of this business for 10 years, my oldest daughter modeled one of his dresses in an expo in October 2008 and this is how he treats me. He indicated to me that he does not need "my type" of business. He has no right to treat anyone in this manner. Horrible Customer Service. I have to agree with the review done back in February. I just left their store due to the horrible customer service. The salesperson never offered to help us find anything in the first place and then stopped me as I went to look for one more dress to remind me we could only try on 8. The dresses aren't to size so the 1st couple we tried were too big (normally a size 5-6, my daughter was a 3-4 there - she's 6 years old). When I asked "Do I need to leave then?", she shrugged her shoulders. There was no one in the other dressing room and the store was not busy. They truly don't seem to care and I will never go there again and will tell others not to. My daughter was upset I didn't get the dress we had planned to but there's always somewhere else to go. I'm still upset by the salespersons tone & attitude.
Owner has anger issues. Please do not shop here! The owner has no concept of customer service or even what being nice means! He treated us horribly in the store and sat by the dressing room the whole time making sure we wouldn't try more than 8 of his precious dresses on. when we wanted to try more on because they dresses were not working he told us we had to leave and come another day! what a psycho! He was waving hangers in our faces and I felt very threatened. He is a horrible person and I hope karma will catch up to him.
