Great Food. I travel through out southern California and like to try the local eateries. I don't generally write reviews, but I have to say, Lolita's Taco Shop was a great experience. The burrito was much larger than I ever expected, enough for two. The fish taco was the best fish I have had. Service was just fine also. The place was clean, with a few tables for dining in. I will be going back.

Best rolled tacos. Whenever we're in town, we make it a point to drop by Lolitas to satisfy our craving for rolled tacos and burritos. My favorite are the rolled tacos w/ everything! crispy and delicious!

With four locations in San Diego and a fifth scheduled to open downtown near Petco Park, this taco shop has been a local's favorite for 25 years. Founders Joaquin and Dolores Farfan coined the restaurant's motto "patience is the essence o fine Mexican food" to reflect the fact that all orders are prepared fresh and take a little longer than typical fast food restaurants. Regulars rave about the carne asada fries, California burrito and chicken chimichangas, but the menu also includes several combo plates served with rice, beans, guacamole and tortillas.
