Worst Dental Facility

My 18 y.o. daughter was there to have her 4 wisdom teeth removed and they over medicated her with the anaesthesia. It took 40 mins. (too long) to wake her up. They kept telling me it was normal, but it was not. Two people that went in after her where already to go home. But my daughter was not even opening her eyes. I told them to call the surgeon and he never came out. I told them to call 911 because I did not have a cell phone and they did nothing. After 45 mins. my daughter starting coming out of it, but I was left there alone trying to wake her up. I hate them for this, because they did not care about what was going on. Please do not let them use the full anaesthesia on your children.

Dental Nightmare

Please do your research before setting foot in this office. Better yet, run far from it. Every time either myself or my family have needed dental work that has required numbing, none of their dentists have been competent enough to do it. There have been two occassions in my family when this office has sent us away with half-completed work. Just today, I went in for a tooth extraction and they attempted to numb me, failed, sent me clear out to Vista to an affiliated specialist, and when I arrived, they informed me I'd have to pay $400 for the procedure. By the way, the specialist was also a SmileCare dentist. The receptionists there show blatant disregard for the patient's time and pain level and chew gum obnoxiously while you are trying to explain your sitation to them. Smile Care is always trying to surprise me with hidden costs for minor procedures and do not tell me until after the fact. Please, for your own good, steer clear of this office. It will end up being an utter nightmare. My daughter, who is 21, has not been to the dentist in 3 years because she is so traumatized by this office. If you choose to go anyway, here's what you can expect: being sent home because the incompetent receptionists double-book you with someone else's slot, the doctor being late, dental assistants who are hard to understand, hidden fees, painfully long wait times and even more painful cleanings and drillings. I am changing dentists today and am contacting the head office as well. (If you think this is just one man's frivolous complaints, by all means, go sit in the office for yourself and just observe! Everyone is complaining!)
