They are very nice people, but they do not speak English very well. They are not discriminating against anybody, but you need to make a reservation before you go because they serve to many Japanese businessmen who work till late and come after work. Believe me, they are the most polite and nice people you ever meet. And Sushi there is great!

I was so thrilled to have found an authentic sushi place in Chula Vista, something to remind me of my years I spent in Japan. I walked in dress to the T, was not greeted or even acknowledged. I went around the privacy screen to the cash register, asked to be seated at the sushi bar and was greeted with a horrible scowl by an obviously bitter old woman. She stated no seats all reserved. So, by reading the other reviews on this place clearly you better be Japanese in order to be seated at this place. To me this is clearly an obvious case of discrimination. I can understand maintaining the authenticity of the japanese cuisine. But if your going to do it at the cost of discriminating against the Amercian Citizens who afforded you the priveledge of opening a business in our country then I suggest you go back to Japan so you don't have to deal with us Americans.
