The only place to go. The owner is also the operator! This is a businessman that takes pride in his #1 asset: The customer! He knows every technical aspect of what he does and has unyielding attention to detail when it comes to installation. He treats his customers' vehicles as if they were his own. He answers technical questions in plain english and has exceptional deals. I have been to several car audio places (including other Al & Eds) from Anaheim to San Diego and this is the only place I truely trust. It's nice to know that there are still people out there that appreciate your business and your referrals. I sent all of my friends to the Al & Eds in La Mesa and they have been nothing less than pleased with the service and prices. I drive over 40 miles to get there and you should do the same regardless of the distance.

Great Customer Service @ a Great Price.
I went to Al & Ed's Autosound in La Mesa several years ago to have a headunit, speakers, and a amp installed in my Honda Accord. So I naturally went back to Al & Ed's Autosound in La Mesa to have an iPod adapter installed in my Infiniti FX35.
I originally purchased the USA- Spec PA-15 through another store to save money. However, the iPod adapter for my Infiniti FX35 was not the correct adapter. The correct one for my Infiniti FX35 was the USA Spec PA-15 for Nissan.
Al & Ed's Autosound in La Mesa helped by ordering the correct iPod adapter and installed it the next day. The installation only took about 1 hour. Al & Ed's also gave me a great price on the iPod adapter and the installation. I shopped around at other audio stores which wanted to charge me $250 for the install. Al & Ed's Autosound in La Mesa supplied everything and installed it for just over $200.
I will be going back to Al & Ed's Autosound for ALL of my audio needs in my Infiniti FX35 or any other car I own.
