Irresponsible and Unprofessional Escrow Company

Try to stay away from this escrow company. My wife and I had some very bad experiences with this escrow company and we wish this will not happen to you.

My wife and I bought a bank owned property and this escrow company was selected by the bank (seller). We had nothing but trouble over the last 1 1/2 month in dealing with this company. Through out the entire offer acceptance and closing process, I did not receive a single acknowledgement or return phone call from them. They love to keep everyone in the dark to hide their inefficiency and ineffectiveness.

First, it tooks many days after to obtains deposit receipts from them. They will not be bother to let you know that they received your money for deposits, downpayment or loan fundings.

Second, they sent me a wrong deposit receipt and disclosed other buyer and other property transactions to me just because they have some incompetent people working for them.

Third, they will not comply to any scheduled date for document preparation so that they can delay our closing and let the bank charge us penalty. Request phone calls to get document ready is constantly ignore or they simply tell us that they are busy with other 'stuff'.

Last but not least, they overcharge us in the HUD 1 closing document and we have to spend great efforts to get our money back.

Our closing happen this week and I am going to take them to small claim court. Additionally, I will be reporting my experience to the Better Business Bureau, California Department of Corporation and some local TV station for investigation.
