“Poorly cooked food and poor service”
Poorly cooked food and poor service. We were at the restaurant last night with a party of 5. The service was not up to par and some of the food had a problem also. We spent $165.00 total and we should have received a better experience for the money. The waitress didn't spend much time with us, she left dirty dishes after our appetizers, she didn't come back and check on us after the meal was delivered, we had to ask another employee to get her, one of the steaks was raw, when it was ordered medium, one of the halibut dinners was cold, it must have waited for the other meals to cook. Because the whole experience was so bad, we will be very hard pressed to come back to that restaurant.
Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor..
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
