Ed was awesome! Answered all my questions and concerns. Very helpful and knowledgeable!
Ed and his crew are true craftmen, and take pride in their work. I will go back for any of my exhaust needs in the future.
Went there to get my exhaust installed. It took only 1 hour, which seemed to be like 15 min. The good thing is that you get to see the guys install it. These people really know what they're doing. Very professional and knowledgeable people who work there. I would have to say good customer service with no hassle. 5 Stars
Thanks for being one of the last true businessmen around that really cares about the customer and treats them like family! Truly the best, Ed Hanson's Muffler Service in East County!
My turn to Sing the Praises of Ed hanson's.
My 1996 Impala SS with 270,000 Miles finally failed smog. Knew it was time for new Cats. My regular mechanic recommended Ed, so I drove right over there. Ed did some checking and found He could use aftermarket Cats. Saved Me about $500 right there. While doing the job he showed me the X pipe. I said i had to have that, so it was installed right away. (If you've got a hot car, YOU WANT AN X PIPE.) He then thru in a couple of Nice exhaust tips (no charge), since my original exhaust ended in the wrong place. Ed is so knowledgeable it's scary. And the word "nice" in the dictionary should have his picture next to it.
Superior work and customer service. I didn't believe businesses like this existed anymore.
I've had an exhaust leak at the manifold/head due to broken bolts for most of my Impala's life (13 years). Never had it fixed because everyone i asked about it said the head had to be removed to get the bolts out.
I mentioned it to Ed and he said that was wrong, He could get them out and fix the leak no problem. Boy was he right. HE AND HIS GUYS FIXED BOTH SIDES WITHOUT REMOVING ANYTHING BUT THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD !!! The way they do it pure GENIUS !!!!!.... If you've got broken Exhaust manifold bolts, go to ed, he'll make a believer out of you. I can not say enough good things about ed and the way he does business. If all businesses we're run like ed's, the world would be a far better place.
good. The man is the president of volumetric efficiency and back-pressure. He knows how to make your car go faster, run smoother and can tell what is wrong with it before you even pull in to the shop; he is truly an automotive genius.
nice job.. They really did an excellent job and worked with me on what I wanted out of my truck. The muffler mounting was phenomenal. The tube routing was great. They made the dual exhaust the way I had it planned out in my mind...except, they did it a little better. Ok, enough about the exhaust. Now about the service. Ed and Joe have been at this for 25+ years. They know what they are doing. They love what they are doing. It shows in their work.
Nice. Ed is very fair in pricing and he and his staff provides a very honest and expert welding job with superb service. Job is very clean and neat. Ed and his wife are very good in their exhaust systems knowledge and customer service. I highly recommend Ed Hanson Muffler shop for their work. Wife's Subaru easily passed smog test later that day with extremely low emissions. Catalytic converters do work very well in reducing exhaust emissions. Very good people!
Good job. I heard about Ed through the guys at SD Tint (another good spot). I called him to schedule an estimate for an exhaust that I was looking for. I asked if I could come in on a weekend since I work during the week but he told me that his shop isn't open on Saturday or Sunday but he would come in for a few hours and take a look at my truck. Cool. The Friday afternoon before my appointment, my schedule opened up and I called to see if I could come in that day instead of ruining both our weekends. He said that worked out and I went in. I was able to get out with work finished in 1 1/2 hours.
Great Staff. Ed is just a great guy. You can have complete confidence that his staff can fix whatever problem there is. In my case it was a custom mid pipe for my Jeep to clear my front drive shaft. Not only was there solution a thing of beauty, but he helped me out getting new catalytic converters at cost. Now I can finally install the front driveshaft and get to wheeling. Basically from the simplest muffler jobs to jobs that require creativity and invention, Ed is the man.
