Staying next door at the Inn by the Sea? Walk on over, its worth it and any wait

Excellent food and the price is about average for a nicer resturant. Being a Friday night, we waited about 20 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. We started with crabcakes, a little more like crab salad then we like but tasty and fried to just the right tenderness. A mixed calamari platter followed, the breading was wonderful and they were cooked until firm, but not chewy. The rest of the dinner was divided between hamburgers for one, shrimp potstickers for another, grilled shrimp and fish for another and king crab platter for another. All where outstanding, we only wish someone had desired one of the many lobster offerings so we could have tried some of that as well. Drinks were pricy, but not watered down, so one was all you needed. Desserts were typical rich fare and nothing spectacular, chocolate cake and an apple sizzle type thing, but a nice end where four people split two and had just enough to satisfy a sweet tooth.

  • Pros: Food was excellent
  • Cons: Price, but it was really about what one should expect for a nicer place
