I would have to agree with the negative comments on this list the reviews are made up by the company. I've met the owner and he's a shady dude.

A Gem. I found this gem of a company years ago while looking to drive business to our clients’ websites.

BIZX was easy and professional and we were assigned an internal account executive (George N) who was on it --every call and email and concern was answered promptly. We were even given special access to log into a special part of their site that's dedicated to updates and real time traffic stats and accounting information which has been invaluable for assessing effectiveness of various campaigns for our clients.

They have graphic design services at no additional cost which we used frequently for various web ad campaigns. This service saved us time money and internal resources. All of our banners were done beautifully and were live within the timeframe we were originally given. The quality of their work is unmatched in my opinion and most importantly, our clients are happy.

Would definitely recommend to any firm or individual business looking for a viable and less expensive or just an additional option for their internet advertising.

Got My Feet Wet Here. Worked here last year as a writer - my first job after college. It was chill. Very casual and low key work environment with emphasis on quality. It's a young crowd for the most part and everyone is into writing and creating.

Work hours were flexible and best was working only 4 days a week in the summer. BIZX is a great place to gain experience writing for the web and a nice home for those interested in a web editing career.

Low stress atmosphere

I would have liked....higher salary.

Don't work with them or for them. BizX is not a company I'd ever trust. I was an employee there and the web content produced is written by doing minimal research and pushing advertisers rather than on actual experience. For example, all those hotel pages? The writers describing them were basing it all off pictures and other people's reviews- NOT what they themselves experienced. They wrote to a word count and threw in tons of useless fluff so that they could keep their job. Expect the VoIP sites to push VoIP down your throat and tell you how great it is- and push advertisers some more. Read an article- how often do they NOT mention an advertiser? Right, hardly ever. Also, I would fully expect BizX to write their own positive reviews here under different accounts to drum up business (as another user says). My impression while working there is that they are a slimy slimy company- one I would never willingly work for again, no matter how desperate. Doing business with them is not advised, nor is working there if you can help it. I'm so happy I scored a job I actually enjoy, giving me the freedom to leave BizX far far behind. Their writers are under paid for the amount of boring crap they are expected to write on a daily basis- and there are approximately 7 or 8 real employees. The rest are interns. If you work here as an intern, don't expect to be offered a full time job. And do expect to work with spineless jellyfish who cower to the CEO's yells. Also expect same day firing for no apparent reason and always feeling like your on the verge of being fired. It's a miserable company.

Love the New Site. Long time customer of nyctourist and have always been happy with our ads. We don't spend alot of money for advertising because we are a small company but the ads have always produced for us. Anyway, the site has a completely new look now and we love it. The pricing guides and maps are great and our ads really pop on the new transportation page. Looks great.

Fun Place to Get Web Experience. Worked as an intern with BIZX for a few months in the summer. It really is a great place to gain experience in web content writing and some basic web design concepts and skills--perfect for a writer and journalist! The web team is a great group and I wish everyone the best there!

Made Up.. The reviews and reviewers for this page were crafted by the company them self.

Each positive review comes from an account created the day of the review and solely for the purpose to place a false review of BizX up on this site and to push negative reviews to the next page of reviews.

You will find much the same on Yahoo.

This falls closely under BizX's standard business practices.

BizX customer service. I am very happy with the service at BizX. Their professionalism and fast response time was extremely helpful. I am very glad I made the decision to switch to this web media/advertising company.
