Serves spoiled food. The food here wasn't fresh at all. Ordered the 10oz Filet Mignon and Cesar salad. The salad was soggy, wilted and tasted spoiled. The server lied and said they serve USDA Prime. The worst part was the cabernet demi glace sauce served with the steak. It was completely rancid and coated everything on the plate. Felt sick after eating here.

Thieves work for the valet service. Average food and average service, nice view. We had over $1400.00 dollars worth of items taken from our vehicle while dining here. Either the valet service is extraordinarily incompetent or they work with the local thieves. Food is average and the restaurant is dirty. Eat somewhere else.

Beautiful View, Food and Service Mediocre. We made reservation three months in advanced to celebrate our wedding anniversary and made it clear that it was our anniversary to ensure we would be seated at a ocean view table. When we arrived, the hostess tried seating us near a family birthday party with plenty of little kids running around and acting wild. While I have no problem with kids having fun, this was our wedding anniversary and we expected a more romantic table, one with a view. The table the hostess tried to seat us at was a two-top on a busy aisle. After a rude discussion with the hostess, she told me that if I wasn’t satisfied, I could speak with the manager. The manager was intelligent and understanding. After about a ten minute wait, we were seated at an ocean view table, which was lovely. Then our server, who was nice but in training, was very confused about the dishes and how they were prepared. Suddenly, we had a new waitress who was very good. The appetizers were fine, but my entre was sea bass that wasn't served as advertised. It was covered in a tasteless cream sauce. Sea bass is a very delicate fish with an exceptional flavor and the sauce spoiled the quality of the fish. On the other hand, my wife had lobster that she loved. I recommend the view, but be very cautious when ordering and don't let the hostess push you around. If you want a particular table or are unhappy with the service, ask to speak with the manager. He is a smart businessman.

The Beach House. My wife and I have been dinning at the Beach House regularly for over ten years and find the quality and service to be excellent and the prices to be consistent with other restaurants in the area. We love the Sunday Brunch with complementary Champaign with occasional dolphins and whales passing by. Sunset dinner with a rare green flash when the sun sinks below the horizon has been a pleasurable experience that you don

disappointed. I had a 20% coupon, so I tried the Beach House downstairs. The prices are redicules high. I am used to go to good Seafood places like Pacifica just to mention one and I receive top quality. None of the Restaurants charge that much. The food was just like a regular Restaurant. I was wondering why it was so empty downstairs. I will not go back there and just want to give you heads up on a huge bill with no gourmet satisfaction.

Decent. The food was so so, but the service was remarkable and the location was outstanding. I love the beach setting. I would reccomend making reservations on their paitio or balcony. The view was beautiful.

Awful. The only thing going for it is the great location. But then in most of these kind of rip off joints, thats what you pay for. Truly awful food.

Contemporary seafood restaurant in Solana Beach offers upscale ambience and a spectacular ocean view.. In Short
A drink on the rocks takes on a whole new meaning at this popular eatery situated just steps from the Pacific. Two heated patios accommodate those who prefer dining alfresco; the indoor dining room offers casual, elegant décor and impressive seaside views. The upstairs bar features live music on weekends, an oyster bar and appetizers such as Maryland-style crabcakes, coconut shrimp and fire-grilled artichokes. Lunch and dinner specialties include grilled swordfish, Hawaiian ahi salad and pistachio-crusted halibut.

Best Place to take out-of-town Guests. Whenever anyone visits, this is the place to go. Right on the water in Cardiff, The Beach House is a geat spot to get a fancy dinner with friends. We like the upstairs bar which has Pizza Kitchen prices, live music on weekends, a great menu, and a better view than downstairs which is priced at two times the plate. Sit outside at night and the spotlights light up the ocean, or go on Saturday for their late afternoon happy-hour.

Enjoy The Beach While You Eat. Very nice setting on the Pacific where you can see the waves come in and watch some people surfing. Food is good but a little expensive except for the very good values for the Sunset Specials served from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Service is attentive without being bothersome.
