For a romantic evening on the beach, or Sunday brunch family outing, California cuisine served seaside can't be beat.. In Short So the motto goes at this waterfront eatery, "Any closer and you'd be wet!" For breathtaking sunsets or a relaxing champagne brunch, Charlie's is the place to soak up southern California's pristine beach views. Diners enjoy classic surf and turf selections and the ever-changing "chef's nightly whim" special. The pan roasted sea bass with truffled parmesan pasta pairs nicely with a wide selection of wines by bottle or glass.
Margarine with a view.
This place has a wonderful ocean view, but if you're coming for a good meal, forget it. I could write about the overcooked fish, I could write about the tasteless lobster bisque, but I think potential diners should be alerted that margarine is served with the bread here. With their prices they could afford to serve real butter. Need I say more?
