They finished on schedule and were able to help us hit our budget . When we were conflicted on design they helped us come up with an outcome that we love. Jack Nestor Fails to Complete Kitchen Remodel. We hired Jack Nestor operating under Mullen Construction License # 421785 as the General Contractor for our kitchen remodel. He went 4 months over estimate, 20% over cost estimate and never even finished the job. To this day we still have unmatching ceiling beams. He was never present to actually supervise his subs and we had to catch and point out all their mistakes and then relay this info to Jack putting us into an awkward position with the workers. He tells you he's going to "try" over and over, but never follows through.…

Beauty abounds in all his work. I have recommended Ed Mullen to two friends who bulit gorgeous homes with Mullen Construction. Anyone who walks into a home or business that Mullen built can recognize the quality immediately. His subs know he is a perfectionist and he himself has impeccable taste. He has built several homes on the beach that I visit and as the years have passed they have not weathered as other homes have, they look as thoguh new. The fourplex he built on Ocean is one of my favorite multiuse projects . I just visited it again to help a client with some design and carpeting and was again struck by the grace of the building, both from the exterior and interior . Numerous Civil and Small Claims Suits. I think the owner, Edgar H. Mullen, is pathologically unstable. I don't know how he is still in business. He has over 20 lawsuits against him.
