“Great food, great prices”

Go where the locals go, and enjoy a scrumptious meal!!! :)
Quick service, really nice menu of assorted kinds of foods. We split a dinner at the bar. Quite good ribs and grilled chicken, with large portion of rice pilaf. Great late evening place when most of the other places we tried, where closing by ten
Always good food at a great price. Highly recommended by our friends too, we are locals and this is our getaway place!
This place is GREAT! Service & food are out of site! My husband and I have covered the menu between the both of us we have dined here so much. Every time is better than the last. You won't be sorry!
We (4 adults and one small child) had wonderful service and excellent dinners. Two of us had the prime rib, two had the sea bass special, and the child had chicken from the child's menu. Her meal, at $4.95, would have been enough for me, but I was busy powering thru a large piece of beautifully cooked fish. The prime rib eaters were equally happy. We were there on a Thursday night at 6pm and the place was full. There was a nice selection of wines by the bottle and unlike most of Carlsbad, very reasonably priced. Yes, the interior is dark and kind of retro, but so what? I thought it was part of the charm of the place, and it is certainly well loved by the locals. We will definitely go there again, the next time we are in Carlsbad.
Good steak house in Carlsbad, fabulous
French onion soup, good steaks.
Good fast service, nice Californian wines. Well priced compared to some other Carlsbad restaurants, recommend for dinner, but not for a special occasion.
Great Prime Rib, Highballs, and
service.
If you are not uptight about modern decor or modern clientele and enjoy delicious food, go now.
The prime rib here was outstanding! Don't be fooled by the low prices. The interior was a little dark, but it's outdated enough, it's retro. We thought it was a hoot!
Had dinner at Koko's was great, Prime rib and ribs on the special very very good tender and well flavored. Returned a couple of nights later, had the shrimp scampi was also very good and wel seasoned.
This place is a blast from the past. Excellent prices, very good food, and friendly staff. If you like the atmosphere of an old-time steakhouse with seriously reasonable prices than this is the place for you. Meals are decent-sized portions and include sides and salads. Salads are HUGE! Prime rib delish. Burgers are big, but may not satisfy the designer burger crowd. Early bird specials are lunch size portions, but they are plenty big. Decent craft beer choices.
