Chin's prices are going up and quality down.
Chin's used to be the only Chinese food in town, but now with PF Changs they have competition.
The past three weeks I had an overload of Chinese food with twice from Chins and twice from PF Changs and Chins is in trouble!
Chin's has steadily pushed their prices up and the food quality is just not as fresh.

What a dump!.
This place is a dump! The first thing we noticed was how angry and rude the waitress was. Real backward! Then we realized why there was only one other couple in the place. The food was terrible! In addition to poor food and service, the place was dirty and looked like it had patchwork repairs done to the ceiling. I can not understand how any health inspector could pass this place. Don't believe me just go in and look around. The waitress seemed irritated when I tried to order a couple things from the menu including bottled water and I was told they were out. Like that's my fault. Of course we didn't finish what had been served and when I tried to use the restroom, I could not believe how filthy it was. I could only imagine what the kitchen must look like. We recently relocated to Carlsbad and this was a true disappointment. Fortunately, now that we know our way around, we have found some excellent restaurants. It is obvious that the owners must have written the positive reviews. I have been around the world at least a dozen times and this is without a doubt one of the worst dining experiences ever!

Editorial Review.
Local chain serves traditional Szechuan cuisine in homey, traditional dining rooms with paper lanterns. Take-out available as well.
