Quick and fresh Mexican fare with a festive outdoor patio in Carlsbad..

The specialty dish at this charming, family friendly restaurant is the broiled chicken: tender, flavorful meat served with tortillas and fresh sauces. There are also the standard fish tacos, chicken tamales, and quesadillas served on platters with rice and beans. Bright red and yellow dining room furniture and mariachi music create a cheery atmosphere that drifts out to the outdoor patio, where flaming fire pits keep the tables warm.

Like a high quality El Pollo Loco. Similar menu to el pollo loco, but everything tastes fresh and flavorful. It's not my favorite Mexican in the area but they have by far the most superior fish burrito anywhere. Really-you'll be impressed.

Great food!. I always have a hard time deciding between the grilled chicken or one of their delicious burritos. The place is very casual with an outdoor seating area. Everything is really fresh and the salsa bar has many options. Great place for a group of friends to get together.
