The home of the infamous "Train Beer" offers no-frills, cold beers and a friendly neighborhood outpost in Carlsbad Village..
In Short
The interior runs the length and barely more than the width of the bar, which is lined with ratty bar stools and surrounded by minimal decor. Cheap draughts are made even cheaper each time a train from the nearby Carlsbad Village stop roars by, when $1.50 "train beers" are poured for a mixed crowd of happy regulars. Basic snacks (popcorn, beer nuts) are available, and a small jukebox offers the only entertainment needed.
