FINALLY!! THEY HAVE A HYGIENIST!!!! GREAT!!!. YEEEAA !!! I JUST WENT IN FOR MY 6 MONTH CHECK UP AND THEY NOW HAVE A HYGIENIST!!!! DR PHAN IS GREAT,. BUT I LIKE HAVING MY TEETH CLEANED BY A HYGIENIST. STAFF IS GREAT DR'S ARE GREAT NOW THE WHOLE OFFICE IS GREAT SINCE THEY ADDED LANI !!!!

Plaza Family Dental. I had a gold crown placed by Dr. Shafa. The crown never fit right, I went to another dentist and found that there was a gap in the crown. When telling Dr. Shafa this I was told I was "too picky." Not very satisfied.

Worst Dentist. I just got home from a cleaning with Dr. Murphy and a rude hygienist. I don’t really care that Murphy has the personality of a dish rag, but this is the roughest cleaning I've ever had. I've had the deep cleanings where they use the high pressure water instrument and some kind of sharp tool, and it has never been this rough, plus I got a shower, water spraying all over my face, wet hair and he didn't even get all the stain off my teeth. I asked the hygienist who was there to finish the job about getting the rest of the stain off, but she said my teeth were too crowded and they couldn't get in there. Strange because every other dentist I've ever been to has been able to "get in there." The first time I went to see him I got some fillings between the gum and the root where my gums are receding. It was never smoothed out properly and has bugged me for the last four months so I asked him buff it down and he thought the was rough filling was done by some other dentist. The only barely nice people in the office are the ones scheduling the appt and giving the estimates. However, the estimates I got were way off and I had to pay a lot more than I expected. I will never go back.

Great staff and Drs are great. I went to plaza dental several days ago even though I read what some people had to say. My co worker recommended this place to me she was very happy with their work. I was treated very well by front office and I only waited 10 min to be called back for x rays I was very excited last place I waited 2 hrs just to be called back. I needed some dental work and dr melendez gave sev eral options wich I liked and when they gave me my breakdown of the cost they did give 3 options of crowns the one ins. Covers and the other that didn't. I had the "lava" I wanted the better one in my mouth, but I was still glad they gave my options that to me says a lot "they are not out to get you" I would recommend this office to my family and friends.
