Perhaps the best ITALIAN food in San Diego!.
This is the real thing! The menu is all in Italian, but the knowledgeable waitstaff will help you make some great choices. Try the salame appetizer, the risotto, the skate (it's a fish-and so delicious)! I Highly recommend this place
Best of the best.
Dinner here will set you back a good amount, but it is completely worth it. If you ever have reason to splurge, celebrate or just treat yourself to something special -- this is a great place. Right up there with Mister A's, marine room, etc.
Unique Northern-Italian fare served in festive-yet-elegant style at the chi-chi Four Seasons Resort in Aviara.. The Scene Swooning couples, post-golf groups and locals primed to celebrate fill the airy, eclectic dining room, made cozy with warm-colored carpet, a roaring fireplace and a choice of banquette seating. Floor-to-ceiling windows boast views of the ocean and the surrounding Batiquitos Lagoon, which can be enjoyed further on the slick, white-stone patio. Service is top-notch--knowledgeable and unintrusive. A rotational, four-course tasting menu is offered daily--with or without paired wines. Antipasti highlights include seared Sonoma foie gras and polenta dusted turbot with pickled ramps, wild arugula and salsa gribiche. Pasta and risotto dishes--such as handmade orecchiette with braised capon, favas and Tuscan pecorino or carnaroli risotto with Maine lobster and basil--can be ordered in half portions for smaller appetites or for mixing.
