Another VERY DISSATISFIED tenant!!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!
Roger has one goal in mind... to make a profit and he cuts all types of corners. His ad claims he is a professional.. maybe a professional scam artist! A reputable professional wouldn't keep dropping in on a property unannounced and scare the tenants children half to death. I actually called the Sheriff thinking he was a burglar! A professional would give 24 hour notice like they are supposed to! (Hopefully, Roger, your getting a clue by now) VERY UNETHICAL!!!
Along with Elizabeths comment... we had the same experience.
1. Mold in the house prior to moving in and they did NOTHING about it. When Roger decided to check on the house during the Landlord visit... (which actually turned into an invasion of privacy search) he actually told ME if I cleaned the black mold around the tub with bleach it would look better. I reminded him that it was there when we moved in and it is under the calking and was written on my walk through list prior to moving in. After that... He could care less. No one in that office seems to communicate with each other about what's going on!
(The green mold we saw when we moved in turned into black mold and would seep through the paint. I passed the info on to Karen but nothing was ever done. Completely ignored the situation. Good luck getting them to do much. I don't know if they play cards all day or what.
2. After moving out we had the house scrubbed and cleaned inside and out and spent three days paying EXTRA on rent to clean the house well. We really wanted to give Dimensions a great impression. My whole family pitched in and we had that place looking amazing... every bit of trash picked up on the property ( by former Tenants), scrubbed the frig and ALL cabinets, cleaned the fireplace, blinds, doors, everything!!!
I was in SHOCK when I found out Roger was going to dock the deposit $140.00 for a cleaning service to clean the house. We should have gotten EVERY cent back! The cleaning bid was 8 days AFTER we moved out!!! So, he never even saw the house he just ordered a cleaning service to re due everything we worked so hard for. All this was after I had written a nice email to Karen telling her how wonderful the house looked and was eager to get our deposit back. I have NEVER experienced worse property managing services in my life which is a direct reflection on Rogers professionalism, or lack there of!
3. When you have to keep chasing calls to get anything done... that means "Get a Clue!!!" YOUR license should be revoked.
P.S. This is the first and hopefully only poor review I have ever written in my life!
Terrible! – I realize they don't really care about the renters as they get their money from the owners. But I think a smart owner will know that driving your tenants out will in the end be more expensive. Also, not addressing problems (like a hole in the wall of the shower since the day we moved in that we called 4 times about with no action, which I'm sure is collecting mold in the walls) will also cost more to fix later rather than sooner. And, Karen would give me personal info about the owner and what was going on in his life. As an owner, I would not want this shared with my tenants.
Experience was terrible from start to finish. When we moved in the house was filthy and there was trash left throughout the house. I didn't complain but I did put it in my walk through paperwork. We had a professional maid clean the house twice a month while we lived there and then had her clean again after we moved out. Dimensions then charged me for cleaning after we moved out. My issue is that 1) the house was clearly cleaner when we left than when we moved in and 2) based on the state of the house when we moved in I doubt they actually used the money they charged me to clean the house. Also, while we lived there, we rarely made any maintenance requests, we'll handle most things ourselves. But when we did call, the maintenance manager didn't know anything about maintenance. We also had to call at least two or three times to actually get any action out of them. Finally, we overpaid the last months rent. Its now been about a month since we moved out and we are still waiting for them to return the overpaid rent.
Glad to be out of one of their properties!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY !!! – "Roger " (the owner) and his staff have been the most unprofessional, un-reliable, unethical and unimpressionable customer service based business that I have had to do business with. I have owned several properties and have never had such poor service and high number of complaints from tenants than with this company. Demensions In Real Estate should be re-named Dementia In Real Estate. Extremly dissatisfied on all accounts. Good luck getting a hold of Roger as well.
