A great family oriented ranch

This is a wonderful place to board your horse! It is not a huge ranch so there aren't hundreds of boarders. So what you get instead is a place that knows your horse, loves your horse like you do, knows exactly who should be on the ranch, and offers a quiet place to go and ride without a bunch of lookie Lous. I wouldn't dream of bringing my horse anywhere else. I know he is taken care of and watched over like he is a member of the family. The owners are extremely fair, honest, down to earth people. Lynn is always setting up fun rides. Cathy who takes care of the horses, is amazing. I know my horse is in good hands. There is no snobbiness at this ranch. Just a bunch of people who have a big spot in their heart for their horse and the others at the ranch. Everyone gets along here, there is no waiting, the prices are great, and the service is exceptional!

Small clean and low flies ranch

Lynn and Duane are awesome people. Kathy who feeds and tends to the horses is always looking out for them. I have 3 horses there and would not move for the world. The review from the "crazy" lady is to be ignored. When you abandon your horse and don't pay board for 6 months what do you expect?

i have boarded my horse at Sandy Creek Ranch for over 6 years. I would be VERY reluctant to ever leave. Lynne and Duane spicer are honest people and care for the horses and their boarders. I've had a few occasions where my horse got sick and needed daily care and I was unable to make it out as frequently as he needed. Lynne and Duane and their staff, were there to help me and my horse out. They are the kind of folks that will take you at your word, and would do anything reasonable for you. Unless you are dishonest with them, and lie or cheat them, in which case you have broken thier trust. And who would want to do business with someone that is dishonest?

They do their best to provide a good and affordable boarding facility. They are caring, personable, and considerate, and the people that keep their horses there, all are friendly and like a big family of sorts.

I couldn't say enough good things about them.

• Pros: good atmosphere, good trust worthy staff and owners
• Cons: fewer amenities then other places.
