awesome. Excellent quality food at reasonable prices! I order from them at least once a week, I'm in love. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming. I'm so glad to have this gem in my neighborhood, it's just as good as the places in the city I have been to if not better, at sometimes half the cost. They are also open late, until 10pm, which is great when I work late and want a quick and healthy dinner option :)

Delicious. Very tasty food, affordable prices, extremely nice and attentive service.

Went out with the family, ordered three apps to share which were all great. All of our main dishes, some with meat and some vegetarian, were very delicious. Portions were just right. We thought we were too full for a dessert but after the waiter brought us two portions of their specialty pudding we gladly ate it because it was that good.

The waiter also explained to us how different dishes are made so we could decide which ones would suite our tastes best. Would def go back.

Very Nice. The food here is amazing and fairly priced. From the decor it's your typical Indian restaurant but the food was beyond awesome and I can't compliment the service enough. The waiters were extremely nice and friendly, and our water glasses were always refilled (this always gets me satisfied).

For a dinner of three we ordered Lamb Vindaloo (highly recommended if you can do spicy), Shrimp Tandoori, and Chicken Tikka Masala with a side order of the garlic naan (it's delicious when it's hot).

The Mango Lassi here is also the best I've tried in my mango-lassi indulging experience.

Superb and affordable.

awesome.... Great Food and Great Service!

I arranged a catering order through India Palace Restaurant over the weekend for 15 people and I have to say the experience was terrific!!!

The Food was delicious (most restaurants cut corners for large orders- but not these guys).

The service was terrific- from the time I placed an order to the time I left the restaurant with trays full of food (they even helped me put every single of the 10 trays into the car with great care).

Best of all the price was extremely reasonable for the amount of food they served (even after eating seconds and thirds, there was enough food left over for few dinners).

They even provided complementary dessert. I was blown away by their thoughtfulness and over all customer care!

I am already looking forward to working with them for my next dinner party!!!

great. Of all the wonderful places to eat in San Diego, I have to say that India Palace is one of my favorites. Dipping naan into their perfectly spiced and creamy chicken tikka masala, washed down with a gulp of mango lassi makes my taste buds smile. The chicken makhani is just as good. I would also recommend the samosas as an appetizer. The wait staff is always very friendly, and they deliver the food on time. This is essential when your stomach is growling.

If you're craving good Indian food, look no further. This place is sure to satisfy.

awesome. Total happy food coma after a great lunch. Cannot believe how fresh the various dishes were. Amazing combination of intense and complex flavors as well as simply and expertly prepared. For $12 you cannot do better. And mega kudos to attentive staff. I drink a ton of water and my glass never dropped below 1/3 full. It IS the little things.

fantastic. Service and decor were both great and the food was truly remarkable.

We started with veg samosas and chicken 65, both of which were delicious. Followed by Shrimp vindaloo and lamb rogan josh and finished with the Kulfi and Gulab Jamun for desert. The salt and mango lassi's were also tasty.

We will definitely be back to further explore the menu.

Great food. In my first year living in San Diego I rarely got take out..but this place converted me. I get take out from them almost once every week to two weeks. Their chicken masala is amazing and the basmati rice is a good complement. The portions are generous and served at least 2-3 meals for me. The staff is extremely friendly. You can order and pick it up w/in the desired time window. It is my favorite neighbor take out/Indian place.

Nice place. I'm vegetarian, so I can only speak for the vegetarian options, but everything I've had here has been really really good. There is a large selection of vegetarian food, and I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried.

The staff is professional, but nice, and the restaurant itself is clean and well-managed. The waiters have remembered me every time I've come in, and that's really saying something.

Final verdict: A good place.

excellent. What a great place! It's our favorite. The food is wonderful but more important is the generous staff. Everyone is so caring and nice. When you're here you feel like family. I just love this place. It's our regular spot.
