Not a lot of choices in North County. In San Diego, the rule of thumb is the taco shop food gets worse the further North you wander. Karina's is the exception. Typical taco shop, but this one has a jukebox which is a nice bonus. Try the shrimp burro with a sangria.

Karina's is great!. Some good Carnitas and a delicious breakfast burrito. I'm fairly new to the area but this place has me coming back again and again! I could really do with a good burrito right about now...

There's better Mexican food out there. I'm a huge fan of Mexican food, so I tend to be picky. I don't recommend this place- they put strange cheese on their rolled tacos. For the same price you get a much better deal going to Juanitas or Ricos. Also, their horchata tasted…
