Great view, great sushi, great music!!. this place is amazingly authentic! The owner is from Taiwan and many of the dishes feature homemade recipes made by Tomiko herself! I'd suggest the Tomiko seared ahi special. Covered with 7 pepper spices! The ambience is a treat in itself! Can't get a better view of the ocean. And the music will keep you guessing since they play old deep cut beats. Try Tomiko and you won't be unsatisfied!!!!

Perched on a hill overlooking Moonlight State Beach, this Japanese restaurant has a dining room that features vaulted ceilings, wood paneling, and fish tanks along the walls. At tables topped with vases of delicate flowers, couples and small groups select from a menu that includes Chilean seabass, prime rib and sushi rolls like the Moonlight Special: soft-shell crab and asparagus served with cilantro sauce.Finish with a dish of ginger or plum wine ice cream.

Delish Sushi!. My Fiance lives in San Diego, and every time I come out to visit I make him take me to Tomiko.

It is by far one of the best sushi restaurants I have been too, and I am from the NYC!

Also, the service is great... We always have the best experience each time we go!
