Fantastic

We spent a couple of nights in North County San Diego and saw the great reviews of Firenze and decided to give it a go. We were glad we did - Italian doesn't get any better than this. We had dinner on their out door courtyard deck under heat lamps and everyting was perfect!

Great Dinning Experience!

We had a wonderful dinning experience. With a lot of Italian restaurants in San Diego. Firenze Trattoria is a great romantic Italian restaurant. The best Italian dinning experience we've had in San Diego.

Outstanding Italian Food

If you have not been to Firenze latley, I highly suggest you check it out. I took my parents to Firenze for thier anniversary. We recieved a warm welcome by the hosstess who took us to a great table in the new addition. Our server arrived promptly, he was great, very attentitive. The wine list has something for everybody,plenty of selections by the glass as well. Our dinner was marvelous my mother chose Pollo Piccata the sauce was incredible, my father had Lasagna (to die for) and I chose Insalata Gamberi, wow what a salad this one is a meal, grilled veggies mixed greans with shrimp topped with goat cheese (yum!). Now for dessert, we shared the best Tiramisu I have ever eaten. Also in the mix was Chocolate Lava Cake accompanied with a fine Port.This was dinner and so much more, a true dinning experience. To the staff at Firenze, Thank you.

better than ever!

outstanding! my wife and i were floored by the new firenze, as we hadn't been there since they remodeled. best of all, so many things have remained the same- wonderful service, (laura is the best!), my favorite calamari on the planet, and the best ossobucco i've had in years.

seems they now have beer on tap (hooray!) and my peroni came out nice and frosty while my wife had a beautiful lemon drop and we chose a great pio cesare barbaresco to go with our meal. as stated, laura was a fantastic server, and even though they were very busy, (on a tuesday!), everything came from the kitchen quicly and was perfectly prepared. our nite ended with cappucinos and the lightest tiramisu since we were in rome last fall. overall, a beautiful nite and even though we live in lajolla we will be coming back to firenze much sooner rather than later!

Best Italian food in San Diego!

Amazing food, great service and a romantic atmosphere! I recently took my girlfriend to Firenze Trattoria for our anniversary, and we had a great time. The extensive wine list made it easy to find something we love in every price range, and the food was incredible. We had the Scampi alla Fresca, and the lasagna (which is the best on the face of the planet!), and loved them both. Our waiter was fun and attentitive, and the food absolutely speaks for itself. Give it a try!
