Creepiest McDonald's Ever?.
Service was slow. Food was the same you see everywhere else. Workers seemed miserable. I was there at 7:30am the they have Fox News on a large TV with one whole side of the restaurant setup with a theater style viewing area-weird. There was a very odd collection of people there hypnotized by the flashy graphics I suppose. Several people were very old and and seemed lonely; they looked at each person who walked in with very sad eyes. Another lady was in there barefoot and doing her nails-that's a lovely smell...
I think the TV kinda gave the place a dead feel. There were no kids laughing, nobody retired folks reading the paper and talking. The place was a very odd decor for McDonalds too-it looked like a recent remodel and was IMHO not attractive in any way.
There was no "thank-you" or "you are welcome" either. All in all it was just a bit creepy there so I left as soon as I ate my sandwich and I won't be back.
Burgers, sandwiches, Happy Meals and all things fried and grilled draw families and fans to the world-famous Golden Arches..
The intoxicating smell of golden fries cooked to crispy perfection and succulent burgers sizzling on the grill permeates the space, while a lively chatting and munching crowd maintains a laidback vibe at this famous fast food haunt. Hungry patrons of all ages and walks of life order classic favorites like the Big Mac, Chicken McNuggets, and the Filet-O-Fish sandwich. As for breakfast (it is the most important meal of the day, after all), this drive-thru king offers both sweet and savory morning meals like the Egg McMuffin and Hotcakes, as well as flavored iced coffees for a much needed java jolt.
Best in Escondido. Of all the locations in Escondido, this is our preferred choice. The rest are average or below. This one has decent room inside, is usually clean, and is in a convenient location.
