“My family comes here for their bread and i must say that they have awesome bread.”
“Carnival is another good place to shop for groceries.”
“They have good quality products for a good price.”
Carnival and Valerios RAWK!!.
I went to the National city one this morning at 6:15am, and bought 2 bananas, 3 fuji apples, and 3 tangerines (minneola) for $1.69.
I went to Valerio's accross the street for pancit, longaniza, bbq pork, and pandesal, it cost me $8.76. It was the best $10.45 I will spend today-Val is probably enjoying it now, while she reads this update.
Moral of the story? When you save a ton of money on fresh fruit at Carnival, don't forget that Valerio's is accross the street.
I love it here!!.
I LOVE THIS PLACE...
Where else can you get 8lbs of Onions for a dollar! This is a great place to get produce, meat, and mexican sweet bread AKA pan dulce... they have great bread... good tortillas, good prices, and great customer service. The Owner knows me already... not by name... cause i dont roll that close to them... but you get what Im saying... the occasional mexican nod like hey wassup im here again!!
Check it out if you are on a budget, but still need the goods!
A Veggie Coneseurs Delight.
I stopped by there today and got a rotisserie chicken meal. Two pieces of
chicken, rice and beans, 2 corn tortillas and salsa for $2.49! I was waited
on by a nice man with a big smile, too. You can't beat that! It was pretty
good. The chicken was tender, the rice and beans had a good flavor. The
salsa wasn't hot, but it had a decent taste. They have fried chicken too.
I'm not sure what else. But if you're in the neighborhood, it'd be worth
checking out.
Carnivals have never been this affordable!!.
I come here to buy what I need, and it's freaking cheap. 10 pcs of mexican
dinner rolls for a buck! And they always have fresh ones coming out. Produce is freaking cheap. Limes are by the pound instead of 3/$x.xx or whatever it happens to be at other markets. Bananas were on sale at 25 cents per pound. 25 cents per pound! You haven't seen prices like that at Albertsons since the 90s! Celery is substantially cheaper as is most of their other produce. They once had baby asparagus for less than a buck/pound--that is absolutely unheard of. Unfortunately I haven't seen it there since.
Carnival is the best!!. carnival market always has low prices and great customer service. The vegetables are always fresh and the meat department is so much better, it always has fresh meat, not to mention the new service meat that was added to the store. There is always marinated chicken and beef all the time. I get all of my meat from there. The bakarey is aswme, hot torrtias and bread all the time. In addition to the bread and tortia, are the delicious pastries that are made daily. keep up the good work
