In Short – Tucked away in a strip mall, this cozy eatery is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, but the home-style Mexican food and reasonable prices have made it a favorite of locals and San Diegans who are willing to drive out of their way for a good meal. There are plenty of traditional dishes like tacos, tamales and enchiladas to enjoy but the standout on the menu is the garlic shrimp topped with avocado and served with grilled vegetables, rice and refried beans. – –
