Darn great gelato, love the nutella flavor gelato, just like gelato I had in Tuscany. On a recent visit to La Jolla, I came upon Gelateria Frizzante on Prospect. They offer samples, so I sampled the lemon sorbet and chocolate-caramel gelato and loved them. I ended up getting the chocolate-hazelnut gelato and black currant sorbet, both to die for. The staff said they make it all in the shop and even pointed out the gelato making equipment in the "purple room". It all taasted like the real deal, having ben to Italy a number of times. Caio!
