Besides having a gorgeous view of the ocean, The Living Room Coffee House has pretty much anything you could ever want when it comes to food and drink. Some of the most popular cafe drinks include the Milky Way Mocha, the California Mocha, and even their standard brewed coffee. The manager, Rita, explains that they brew their coffee, which is a European blend, every 10 minutes, and it is always fresh and delicious. In addition to their cafe drinks, they offer a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu as well as smoothies, wine and beer. If that weren't enough, they also have an array of desserts made by a Swiss chef, and also a full bar. Upstairs there is a hookah lounge, ocean room, and cigar room. Downtown La Jolla coffeehouse chain where locals and tourists relax, study and grab a quick bite..
Located above the Cove at the T-intersection of Prospect and Girard, this bistro is recognizable by its striped awning, which shades people-watchers lounging below. Tinted windows hide the intimate and softly lit interior where patrons wait their turn to order from chalk board menus behind the counter. Families and tourists settle in to antique furniture to enjoy sandwiches, cheesecakes and flavored ice-blended drinks, while local students take advantage of free Wi-Fi and sprawl out on dark cherry tables.
