Best Color & Highlights. I LOVED my color & cut from Jet Rhys. My colorist, Aubrey, did such an excellent job. It's been a month since my color & highlights but I still find myself admiring the color in the mirror. The staff her is super nice. The tv's above the shampoo bowl may be a bit "over the top" but it is a cool touch. I love this salon and highly recommend for those who like to look great.

HAIRay for Jet Rhys. NO MUSS, NO FUSS......just THE BEST service in town!

After moving to La Costa from NYC, I had no idea where

to turn for highlights -- naturally, I went online. Thank G-d

I found these guys! They take extra care to really listen to their

client's needs and then deliver results beyond expectations.

I hope writing this review doesn't mean I won't be able to get

an appointment next month......

Love this place for so many reasons: Amazing service, stylists, environment, scalp massages, and more.... When I moved to San Diego, I was nervous about finding a new stylist I could trust. Some friends told me about Jet Rhys and I?ve been hooked since the first haircut. I didn?t even tell the stylist what to do, I just explained my problem areas and before I knew it, he had crafted an amazing style that was totally easy to manage. I rarely make a style request and trust that they will know what?s best and they always give me the latest cut that perfectly complements my hair type and face shape. Most recently, they suggested a color change, which I was all for, but terrified of how we could possibly remove the jet black color I have been dying into my hair for 3 years without damaging it. I don?t know exactly what Jet did, but she was able to remove the black without any damage and return my hair to its natural color, without adding anything additional. All I can tell you is that my hair is back to its natural hue and I?m trying to grow it out per they?re latest recommendation! By the way, the neck and scalp massage is totally worth a visit on its own. I have to admit; I started spacing out my color and cuts, so I could get a double dose of the experience.

Fabulous stylists = fabulous hair!. My haircut was looking quite tired when I booked my very first appointment at Jet Rhys. What a transformation! They really listened to what I wanted (i.e. wash and wear, minimal styling) and addressed any problems with my hair (very thick). After each cut, the stylists also give step-by-step instructions on how to blowout my hair to re-create that "fresh out of the salon" look. I get compliments on my hair all the time now and always tell them it's because of Jet Rhys! They are the absolute best - and I gladly recommend them to anyone I meet!

Discovered my perfect color at Jet Rhys!. After landing a job at a fast paced technology firm in San Diego, I needed to transform my beach blond hair to something with more impact to ensure I would leave a lasting impression on my colleagues and clients. Jet Rhys is very intuitive and knew right away how to create the perfect blend of color that really popped! They infused hints of reddish gold along with an amazing hydrating treatment that left my hair feeling soft and silky. The color radiates light and matches perfectly with my skin tone. I get tons of compliments and I send everyone to Jet Rhys...They are unquestionably the best in town!

Great haircut, I love my hair again!. My co-worker Kathy told me about this place when I moved to San Diego in 2004. But for various reasons, I didn't get to check it out until this month. Kathy has extremely long hair, but she recommended Jet Rhys because they could create a cut that was wash and wear.

I booked my appointment online at their website. They emailed me back promptly, and we were able to set up a date/time (I booked it 2 months in advance, but check availability when you call/email).

Although this modern salon is set back from the street, this creates a neighborhood feel. I was greeted by friendly, helpful staff. I was a little early for my appointment, but they went ahead and had me change into the standard dark overgown.

Then I met Heather, and we sat and discussed what I wanted. I have longer hair, and told her I still wanted it to be long. Mya then washed and conditioned my hair. The area was set up with small tvs so you could watch fashion tv on the ceiling!

I loved their decor, high ceilings, clean lines, and even their chairs.

Heather and I discussed what I use to clean my hair. It was so dried out because I washed it every day with the wrong shampoo/conditioner. She advised me to wash it every few days instead. I also asked how I could help keep body in my hair since it is fine and she gave me tips on how to style it.

I really love my hair cut and plan to go back frequently. I thought I got a great deal for what I was looking for, and got quite a few compliments the next day at work.

P.S. They didn't accept American Express at the time I was there, but the staff were great at accomodating my Visa card being at home. They accept MasterCard, Visa, ATM cards and cash.
