Just as great as mom"s

The staff is what makes this a fun place to dine, their attention to detail and knowledge is first rate. The cheese fondue with Camembert is not to be missed. The selection on the original fondue comes with 10 sauces, two types of beef, chicken, shrimp, scallops and veggies. More than enough food to make you wish you could take home a doggy bag with the fondue equipment.

Fun place

This is more of a novelty place similar to Korean BBQ IMO. But I love fondue, so this place is perfect for me. The staff was good and explained the food well.

They Didn't Honor Our Reservations!

I wish I could write about the quality of our dining experience at Forever Fondue. However, we couldn't even get a table there, even after making reservations days in advance. When we arrived, we were told that there could be a 30 minute OR MORE delay, apparently due to their poor management of earlier guests with reservations. We were starving and they ruined our night, forcing us to head elsewhere, where the management is apparently better at handling their customers. I will never go back there again.

• Pros: In La Jolla and has a nice name for a restaurant.
• Cons: The service/management is so poor that guests like us will never come back.

Way over priced

To be honest I had read tons of bad reviews on this place but i thought the idea of fondue sounded really fun so I tried it anyways. Mistake. I went with my boyfreind and another couple, and not only was the service horrible (we'd have been lucky to see our waitress every 40 minutes) but the food was way overpriced. Each couple split a meal and they ended up only bringing us one serving of each fondue course. When we asked if we could get another serving (since we were paying for 2) the waitress rudly said "Well, ya, if you guys wanna wait like 45 minutes to get another"... It was very disappointing to try and go out on a nice date and spend $100 on a dinner that was not very good and in my opinion very overpriced. If you have a time schedule to keep i would recommend not going to this place because with reservations it was a 30 minute wait and on top of that dinner took 2 1/2 hours. Seriously Disappointing.

• Cons: bad service, too expensive, average food at best, inconvenient parking
