In Short – At over 11,000 square feet with four levels and a 500-plus-person capacity, one can safely assume that the Typhoon Saloon is the biggest and most well-rounded dance club in Pacific beach. The music skews from '80s flashbacks and live bands covering top 40 tunes to hip-hop and cheesy glam metal. Each level of the structure has full bars, but the biggest draw of this friendly meat market is the easy-going staff and bouncers.

Worst Bar in San Diego and Pacifoc Beach

Not only was the food bad (I got sick from the food ), but the doorman in the blue shirt made lewd comments to me and my friend. We were very uncomfortable and left. Needless to say this was a bad experience. o NOT got toe Typhoon Saloon.

Look Good:
Surprisingly, there is a no flip-flop rule on certain nights. Best to call ahead, just in case.
When to Go:
Wednesday nights play host the an 80s metal cover band. Dressing up and going nuts is the order of the day, but beware of long lines that wrap around the corner.
