The Scene
Loud music and bright colors greet you at the door to this high-energy, super-funky shopper's paradise, the mall outlet of the original boutique in La Jolla. Large, glass picture windows showcases the latest trends to passersby, and once inside, it's every shopper for herself in the single, rectangular rack of all-gals jeans, tees and dresses for every occassion. A hanging disco ball and threaded beads in the doorway complete the wild shopping experience.
The Goods
For denim, they stock all the old favorites like 7 for All Mankind, but also feature a few funky newcomers like Earnest Sewn and Raven. There's also plenty of Diane von Furstenburg's wild printed dresses and a healthy sale rack that changes weekly with old (we're talking weeks here, not seasons) merchandise. For kicks, the selection ranges from the entire Yellow Box line to mainstay Steve Madden boots and sandals.
