good sushi at a good price. This isn't your high-end sushi, but it's good. It's a pretty good value too. I like the atmosphere, casual and clean. Nice calming paintings and comfortable booths. The service can be slow, but no worse than most sushi places. I come here for lunch often and I think it is a nice local eatery.

Not much English spoken here. I work about a block away. I used to go here for lunch, but my order was screwed up once too many times. That was the final straw. The first strike against them is the way that the servers hovered over me why I had my meal.

most terrible sushi ever!!!.
this was probably the most terrible sushi I ever had -- the fish was bad,
and both me and my husband got sick.

Seriously Good Sushi.
Been down to San Diego a whole bunch of times....each time, I like to stay in La Jolla...its beautiful. I found Fugu's on Citysearch and decided to have dinner there. Great decision. Their fish is super fresh...it was still moving when they served it : )
The restaurant is nice without being pretentious. Our server was really sweet and I can't say enough good things about their sushi chef!!
If you're looking for good, no, great sushi..check out Fugu's next to Starbucks.

Best sushi in la jolla. This place has a great sushi bar with a good surrounding enviorment and the service is great. The food is off the hook everything will satisfy a hungry customer.
