Great food & service. We went to Dussini for a business dinner and were definitely happy with our choice. The service was very attentive and the food was great! We had a 7pm reservation and the restaurant was still fairly quiet for a Saturday night.
classy lunch spot. I was in the mood for mediterranean food and we found this place. The decor inside is amazing; it's very classy with just the right amount of lighting. I got this gorgonzola salad with caramelized walnuts; it was wonderful; the dressing was to die for! I've never had a salad that was that good. The service was wonderful; our drinks were refilled quickly. The server and the employees were very friendly and the food came out quickly.
Awesome place!. My girlfriend and I were visiting San Diego for a convention and were walking around trying to find a place for a good late lunch. We were not dissapointed with Dussini's! We actually came here expecting it to be another restaurant, as we'd both been there before when it was another business. But, we were drawn by the menu and the staff was very friendly. I had the Bouillabaisse de Marseilles with mixed seafood and it was delectable. Free wireless internet access.
it was just ok. i took some friends out for dinner while visiting san diego. although the place had the nice decor (we ate upstairs), the overall experience was just ok. the price was reasonable - i spent $120 for dinner for 3 which included about 5-6 drinks. the drinks were not that good (i ordered fairly basic stuff, like grey goose gimlet, and my friends ordered their fancy mixed drinks -- none were all that great). the food was just average. my friend liked the scallops. i had the pork chops, it was good but not spectacular. i will probably try other places before i go back there again.
Visually-striking Gaslamp Quarter restaurant and lounge serves a multi-faceted Mediterranean menu..
In Short
Located in the space that once held The Old Spaghetti Factory, Dussini packs plenty of seating into its three-story home. Patrons populate both the upstairs loft bar, which contains a billiards area and a fireplace, and main dining area (high ceilings and oversized paintings). The wide-ranging menu features familiar favorites from across the Mediterranean, including stuffed grape leaves, spicy gazpacho soup, monkfish nicoise, veal saltimbocca and Moroccan-spiced pork chop.
Awsome. This was an awsome place for dinner or just to enjoy a cocktail. I went there on a business trip. The food was wonderful. Everything we had was perfect. A speciality drink you can't pass up is the raspberry champaign mojito. Our server was great too. There is a bar upstairs with pool tables and a fire place.
